I'm five weeks out from the Impossible Questions Tour. I have no idea what I'm doing. Alright, maybe I have very little idea of what I'm doing. Between working my two jobs I have time to work on this project every Saturday afternoon when I head to the beautiful Cambridge Public Library on Broadway. I make a to do list, and then I complete half of it. Things on my mind:
I need to configure the right contract for my interviewees. There are several good examples on the internet. Exciting huh?
I haven't announced this journey on any kind of social media yet. I've been emailing specific people to let them know I'm leaving, asking them if they have anyone on my route, and hinting that maybe they might know someone whose couch I could sleep on. My job at Harvard knows. It's official. The day the news came out, I went into internal panic "what am I doing? How am I going to eat?? Where am I going to sleep? Who would want to talk to me?"
